Removal Procedure

Fig 1: Removing Weatherstrip Around Windshield

Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
Remove the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Rearview Mirror Replacement .
Remove the weatherstrip around the windshield.

Using the glass sealant remover J 24402-A , cut the adhesive around the windshield. See Special Tools .

Remove the windshield from the vehicle.
Using a knife, remove the adhesive from the windshield.
Using a knife, remove the adhesive from the windshield frame.
