Removal Procedure

Fold down the rear seat back.
Remove the C-pillar trim.
Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor bolts. Refer to Shoulder Belt Replacement - Rear .
Remove the center high mounted stop lamp. Refer to Center High Mounted Stop Lamp Inoperative .
Remove the child seat anchors. Refer to Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Five Door) or Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Four Door North America ) or Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (Four Door Except North America) .
Remove the back panel upper cover.
Remove the plastic retaining clips.
Slide the deck lid sill plate cover forward to remove.
