Go to Step 2. |
Go to A/T SYSTEM CHECK . |

Check pressure control solenoid valve circuit for IG short
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position and disconnect TCM connectors.
- Check for proper connection to "C06-2" and "C06-4".
- If OK, turn ignition switch to ON position and measure voltage between "C06-4" terminal of disconnected harness side TCM connector and ground.
Is it 0 V? |
Go to Step 3. |
"LT GRN/BLK" or "GRY" circuit shorted to power circuit. |

Check pressure control solenoid valve resistance
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
- Disconnect valve body harness connector (1) on transaxle.
- Check for proper connection to "LT GRN/BLK" and "GRY" terminals of valve body harness connector.
- Check resistance of pressure control solenoid valve.
Resistance of pressure control solenoid valve Between (3) and (4) terminals of valve body harness connector: 3.3 - 3.7 Ω at 20°C (68°F) Between (3) terminal of valve body harness connector and vehicle body ground (2): Infinity

Intermittent trouble or faulty TCM. Check for intermittent by referring to INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTION INSPECTION
. If OK, substitute a known-good TCM and recheck. |
Replace pressure control solenoid valve or lead wire. |
