Cylinder Head Cover Removal

Remove the fuel pump fuse.
Start the engine and repeat cranking until the remaining fuel in the fuel line is all consumed.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Drain the engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND REFILLING THE COOLING SYSTEM .
Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Removal .

Remove the coolant reservoir. Refer toSURGE TANK REMOVAL .
Remove the front support bracket retaining bolt and the front support bracket.

Remove the air filter housing.

Remove the rear support bracket retaining bolts and the rear support bracket.
Remove the ignition coils. Refer to IGNITION COIL REMOVAL .

Remove the cylinder head cover bolts and the cylinder head cover.
Remove the cylinder head cover gasket.
