Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraints (SIR). Refer to Disabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraints (SIR) .
- Remove the floor console. Refer to FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the connector position assurance lock, which is tethered to SDM connector.
- Disconnect the SDM electrical connector.
- Remove the SDM mounting bolts.
- Remove the SDM.
