Hoses and Pipes Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2008 Suzuki Reno, 2008 Suzuki Forenza, 2007 Suzuki Reno, 2007 Suzuki Forenza, and 2006 Suzuki Reno. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Siphon the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
Disconnect the pressure line pipe and the supply line hose from the inlet and outlet connections on the power steering pump.

Disconnect the return and supply line from the fluid reservoir.

Loosen the retaining clip located above the alternator and position it away from the pressure line.

Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
Disconnect the pressure line from the power steering gear inlet.
Disconnect the return line outlet pipe from the power steering gear.

Remove the return line from the clip on the crossmember.

Remove the bolts from each of the two clips on the radiator.
Remove all the hoses and pipes from the vehicle.
Lower the vehicle.
