Caliper Overhaul Disassembly and Assembly: Disassembly

- Remove the caliper assembly. Refer to Caliper Assembly Removal and Installation .
- Remove the caliper guide pin that connects the caliper piston housing to the retaining frame.
- Remove the front brake pad set, including the pad springs, from the caliper. Refer to Brake Pads Removal and Installation .
- Using compressed air, blow out the piston from housing, and remove the outer piston seal.
- Remove the inner seal.
- Remove the bleeder valve protector and the bleeder valve.
