Center High Mount Stoplamp Removal and Installation (For STATION WAGON Model): Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the tailgate trim cover screws.
  3. Remove the tailgate trim cover.
  4. Remove the tailgate garnish molding. Refer to TAILGATE LOWER GARNISH MOLDING REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the rear wiper motor.
  7. Remove the license plate lamps bracket bolts and the nuts.
  8. Remove the license plate lamps bracket.
  9. Remove the station wagon door latch rod.

  10. Remove the center high mounted stoplamp nuts.
  11. Remove the center high mounted stoplamp.
