Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.
- Remove the EGR valve retaining bolts.
- Remove the EGR valve from the Electronic Ignition (EI) system ignition coil adapter.
