Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the upper and the lower instrument trim panels. Refer to "INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
- Disconnect the steering wheel rotation sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the intermediate shaft from the steering column to allow removal of the steering wheel rotation sensor. Refer to "INTERMEDIATE SHAFT AND DASH SEAL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
- Remove the retaining screw from the steering wheel rotation sensor.
- Remove the steering wheel rotation sensor.
