Knuckle Disassembly and Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the knuckle from the vehicle. Refer to "KNUCKLE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
  2. Remove the wheel hub. Refer to "HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
  3. Remove the brake caliper and brake rotor. Refer to "CALIPER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :" and "ROTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
  4. Remove the back plate. Refer to "HUB AND PARKING BRAKE SHOE / BACKPLATE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
