Brake Pads Inspection

Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
Remove the rear wheels. Refer to "WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
Visually check the brake shoe linings for minimum thickness and wear.
Measure the thickness.
NOTE: The minimum discard thickness of the brake shoe lining is 2 mm (0.08 inch).
Install the shoes in axle sets only.
Install the rear wheels. Refer to "WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
Lower the vehicle.
