EVAP Canister Removal And Installation: Removal

- Disconnect negative cable at battery.
- Hoist vehicle.
- Disconnect EVAP leak check module connector.
- Disconnect hoses (1) from EVAP canister (2).
For quick joint of hoses, disconnect it as follows:
- Remove mud or rust around joint by blowing compressed air, and push joint fully in arrow direction.
- Disconnect hose joint while joint lock is unlocked by pushing both sides of joint.
- Remove EVAP canister with EVAP leak check module, EVAP canister air suction filter and its bracket (3).
- Remove EVAP canister with EVAP leak check module from its bracket.
- Remove EVAP leak check module cover.
- Disconnect hoses from EVAP leak check module and EVAP canister.
- Remove EVAP leak check module from EVAP canister.
