Hood Installation

- With the aid of another technician, position the hood in the location marked during removal.CAUTION: Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.
- Install the 2 bolts securing the hood to each hinge.
Tighten:
Tighten the hood-to-hinge bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb-ft).
- Install the hood struts. Refer to Hood Struts Installation .
- Inspect the hood for proper alignment.
- Install the washer hoses to the hood.
