DTC Confirmation Procedure
WARNING:
- When performing a road test, select a place where there is no traffic or possibility of a traffic accident and be very careful during testing to avoid occurrence of an accident.
- Road test should be carried out with 2 persons, a driver and a tester, on a level road.
- With ignition switch OFF, connect scan tool.
- Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC using scan tool.
- Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature.
- Increase vehicle speed to 25 mph (40 km/h) or more.
- Keep above vehicle speed for 15 min.
- Confirm that any DTC are not detected.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and leave for 6 hours.
- Check DTC.
