Front Strut Removal

Raise and suitable support the vehicle.
Remove the cap and nuts from the strut upper area.

Remove the wheels. Refer to WHEEL REMOVAL .
On vehicles equipped with an antilock brake system (ABS), disconnect the ABS sensor line from the strut assembly. Refer to FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the brake hose E-ring and dislocate the brake hose.
Remove the strut bracket bolts and nuts.
Remove the strut assembly.
