Hub and Bearing Disasembly and Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the steering knuckle from the vehicle. Refer to Knuckle Assembly Removal and Installation .
  3. Insert the threaded rod CH-46560-04 through the bearing CH-46560-06, bridge CH-46560-01 and knuckle assembly.

  4. Place the Wheel Hub Spacer CH-46560-03 and nut CH-46560-05 on the rod CH-46560-04.

  5. Hand-tighten the nuts and remove the wheel hub from the knuckle.
  6. Remove all the special tools from the knuckle.
  7. Remove the retaining ring.

  9. Insert the threaded rod CH-46560-04 through the bearing CH-46560-06, bridge CH-46560-01 and knuckle assembly.
  10. Place the Wheel Bearing Spacer CH-48833 and nut CH-46560-05 on the rod CH-46560-04.

  12. Hand-tighten the nuts and remove the wheel bearing from the knuckle.

  14. Remove all the special tools from the knuckle.
