Ball Joint Disassembly and Assembly: Disassembly

- Remove the control arm. Refer to Control Arm Removal and Installation .
- Drill off the heads of the two rivets with a 12 mm (0.47 in.) drill bit.
- Punch out the rivets with a drift.
