Brake Pads Removal and Installation: Installation

- Measure the minimum lining thickness. Refer to "BRAKE PADS INSPECTION :".
- Install the brake pads into the caliper.
- Push the piston inward, if needed.CAUTION: Take care not to damage the piston seal when the piston housing frame is pulled down.
- Pull down the caliper piston housing and secure it to the retaining frame with the lower bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the retaining frame-to-caliper housing bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb-ft).
- Install the front wheels. Refer to "WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION :".
- Lower the vehicle.CAUTION: Do not move the vehicle until a firm pedal is obtained, or improper braking action will result.
