Lining Inspection

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
- Remove the front wheels. Refer to WHEEL REMOVAL .
- Visually check the brake shoe linings for minimum thickness and wear.
- Measure the thickness.
Specification
The minimum thickness of the inner or the outer brake shoe is 8 mm (0.31 in.).
- Install the brake shoes in axle sets only.
- Install the front wheels. Refer to WHEEL REMOVAL .
- Lower the vehicle.
