Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly Inspection

  1. Check continuity between each terminals. If there is no continuity, replace radiator fan assembly.

  2. Connect battery to radiator fan motor coupler as shown in figure, then check that the radiator fan motor operates smoothly, fan speed varies and that specified current. If radiator fan motor does not operate smoothly, replace radiator fan assembly.

    Reference: Fan motor specified current at 12 V 

    LOW: 4.8 - 7.8 A 

    HIGH: 7.4 - 10.9 A
