CONDITION:
Some vehicles may have the wrong GVWR listed on the vehicle certification plate. The GVWR that is listed is 2100KG (4630LB) and the correct value is 2130KG (4696LB). All affected vehicles should have a GVWR Correction Label fitted prior to sale. Dealers with affected vehicles in their inventory were mailed a list of VINs and labels. Customers will be notified by letter from ASMC. Customers can choose to install the label themselves, or have a Suzuki dealership install it for them.

CORRECTION:
Follow the instruction below to add the GVWR correction label on the driver side "B" pillar above the vehicle's original certification plate.

PART(S) INFORMATION:
Label Installation Procedure
1. Locate the certification plate at the bottom of the "B pillar on the driver side and clean the area above the plate with mild degreaser such as rubbing alcohol. Ensure the area is dry.
2. Apply the GVWR correction label above the certification plate at a distance of 1 mm above the certification plate and align the right side of the label and plate together.
