Rear Strut Assembly Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: REAR STRUT ASSEMBLY CHECK 

1. Install strut by reversing Removal procedure. Insert bracket bolts in such a direction as shown in figure.
2. Torque all fasteners to specification.

   Tightening torque 

   Strut support nut a: 28 N.m (2.8 kg-m, 20.5 lb-ft) 

   Strut bracket nut b: 90 N.m (9.0 kg-m, 65.0 lb-ft) 

   Stabilizer joint nut c: 50 N.m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 lb-ft) 

   NOTE: Do not twist brake hose when installing it. Install E-ring (1) as far as it fits to bracket (2) as shown.
