DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Is DTC P2227 detected?  Go to Step 3. Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
3  MAP sensor check 
  1. Remove ECM from vehicle body referring to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Connect connectors to ECM.
  3. Check voltage between "C45-20" and "C46-16" under the following conditions.

Voltage between "C45-20" and "C46-16" of ECM with ignition switch ON 
leaving engine OFF: 3.3 - 4.3 V at altitude 0 - 610 m, 0 - 2000 ft 
At idling: 0.7 - 1.6 V at altitude 0 - 610 m, 0 - 2000 ft 
Is check result as specified? 		 Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. Go to Step 3 of DTC P0108: MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT .
