DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch turned OFF.
  2. Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC, pending DTC and freeze frame data by using scan tool and warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
  3. Drive vehicle at engine speed 1000 to 3000 rpm for a few minuets.
  4. Stop engine.
  5. Repeat Step 3) - 4) more 2 times.
  6. Check DTC and pending DTC by using scan tool.
