Remote Audio Control Switch Inspection
- Remove driver air bag (inflator) module referring to DRIVER AIR BAG (INFLATOR) MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect remote audio control switch connector from contact coil.
- Check switch (1) for resistance between "a" and "b" terminals under each condition below.
If check result is not satisfactory, replace remote audio control switch.

All switches released (OFF): 95 - 105 kΩ
"MUTE" switch pushing on (ON): 313 - 347 Ω
"+" switch pushing on (ON): 950 - 1050 Ω
"-" switch pushing on (ON): 2954 - 3266 Ω
"MODE" switch pushing on (ON): 5301 - 5859 Ω
"<" switch pushing on (ON): 8487 - 9381 Ω
">" switch pushing on (ON): 14497 - 16026 Ω
