Transfer Shift Actuator Removal and Installation: Installation

CAUTION: Be sure to position transfer shift actuator to 4H position referring to "Actuator Shift Position Sensor" under Transfer Shift Actuator Inspection .

Install transfer shift actuator (1) and new gasket to transfer rear case (2), and then tighten transfer shift actuator bolts (3) first and then bolt (4).

Tightening torque

Transfer shift actuator mounting bolt a: 23 N.m (2.3 kgf-m, 17.0 lb-ft) by the specified procedure
