G Sensor Inspection

Reference: G SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 

Connect positive cable of 12 volt battery to (1) terminal of sensor and ground cable to (3) terminal. Then using voltmeter, check voltage between (2) terminal and (3) terminal.

If measured voltage is not as specified, replace sensor with bracket.

G sensor specifications 

When placed horizontally [A]: 2 - 3 V 

When placed upright with arrow upward [B]: 3 - 4 V 

When placed upright with arrow downward [C]: 1 - 2 V
