DTC DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
Battery voltage supply circuit check 
  1. Remove ECM cover.
  2. While engine running, check voltage between "E61-2" terminal and ground.

Is voltage 10 - 14 V? 
Poor "E61-2" terminal connection or intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent referring to INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTION INSPECTION . "WHT" circuit open, short or "RADIO DOME" fuse blown.
If wire and connections are OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
