Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Removal and Installation: Installation
- Make sure that O-ring and VSS have not been damaged.
- Inspect VSS driven gear for abnormal wear of gear teeth or bend of shaft portion and replace it if necessary.
- Make sure that VSS driven gear is rotates smoothly.
- Install VSS assembly (1) to transfer (2) and connect coupler (3) as it was.
Tightening torque
VSS mounting bolt a: 6 N.m (0.6 kg-m, 4.5 lb-ft)
