DTC is Not Outputted Even When Diagnosis Switch Terminal is Connected to Ground: Troubleshooting

TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
2WD/4WD indicator circuit check 
  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.

Does 2WD/4WD indicator come ON? 
Go to Step 2. Go to 2WD/4WD Indicator Does Not Come ON at Ignition Switch ON .
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.

Is it shorted to diagnosis switch terminal and ground terminal by service wire properly? 
Go to Step 3. Connect service wire securely.
Diagnosis connector circuit check 
  1. Disconnect service wire.
  2. Measure resistance between ground terminal of diagnosis connector and body ground.

Is resistance below 5 Ω? 
Go to Step 4. "BLK" circuit poor connection.
Diagnosis connector circuit check 
  1. Disconnect 4WD control module connector.
  2. Check for proper connection to 4WD control module at terminal "E23-8".
  3. If OK, then measure resistance between diagnosis switch terminal of diagnosis connector and "E23-8" terminal of 4WD control module connector.

Is resistance 1 Ω or less? 
Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck. "PNK" wire circuit is open.
