| 1 | Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed? | Go to Step 2. | Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK . |
| 2 | Check TP sensor and its circuit
Is it displayed 0%? |
Go to Step 3. | Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent referring to INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTION INSPECTION . |
| 3 | Check wire harness
Is voltage about 4 - 6 V? |
Go to Step 4. | Open in "GRY/RED" circuit, "GRY/RED" circuit shorted to ground or poor "C51-3-13" terminal connection. If wire and connection are OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. |
| 4 | Check TP Sensor
Are measured values within specifications? |
"RED/GRN" circuit wire is open/shorted to ground or poor "C51-3-9" terminal connection. If OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck. | Replace TP sensor. |
