Transfer Shift Actuator Motor Position Sensor

Measure resistance of transfer shift actuator motor position sensor at all shift positions as follows.

  1. Position reduction drive shift cam (1) at each shift position below by connecting battery to terminals "a" and "b" of transfer shift actuator connector (4) as shown in figure.
  2. Measure resistance between "c" and "d" terminals of transfer shift actuator connector (4).

    If measured resistance is out of specification, replace transfer shift actuator (3).

    2H: Approx. 347 Ω 

    2H - 4H: Approx. 197 Ω 

    4H: Approx. 122 Ω 

    4H - N: Approx. 77 Ω 

    N: Approx. 47 Ω 

    N - 4L: Approx. 27 Ω 

    4L: Approx. 12 Ω
