Body Electrical Control System Check

TEST PROCEDURE - BODY ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK

Step Action YES NO
Was "Customer complaint analysis" performed?  Go to Step 2. Perform "Customer complaint analysis".
  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position and check "Clock/Temp. display" in BCM.

Does "Clock/Temp. display" come ON or keep flashing? 
Go to Step 3. Proceed to Step 1 from Step 3 of BCM POWER CIRCUIT AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK .
If OK, substitute a known-good BCM and recheck.
  1. Check DTC referring to DTC Check .

Is it malfunction code? 
Go to Step 4. Go to Step 5.
  1. Inspect and repair referring to applicable DTC flow.

Does trouble occur? 
Go to Step 3. Go to Step 7.
  1. Check relational system of BCM referring to "BCM input / output table" in BCM Self-Diagnosis Function .

Is trouble symptom identified? 
Go to its system symptom diagnosis flow. Go to Step 6.
  1. Check BCM and its circuit referring to INSPECTION OF BCM AND ITS CIRCUITS .

Is it in good condition? 
Substitute a known-good BCM and recheck. Go to Step 7.
  1. Perform "Final confirmation test" after cleared DTC.

Does trouble recur? 
Go to Step 3. BCM is in good condition.
