Cruise Control Actuator Assembly (with Control Module) Inspection
Reference: CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (WITH CONTROL MODULE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
CAUTION:
Never disassemble cruise control actuator assembly. Disassembly will spoil its original function.
Move actuator lever by hand and check its operation as described below.
- Actuator lever (1) should not turn clockwise.
- Actuator lever (1) should turn smoothly by about 1/3 rotation counterclockwise and contact internal stopper.
- When hand is taken off from actuator lever at the position in Step 2, it should return to its original position (2) by return spring force.
If actuator lever (1) does not operate as described above, replace it.
