Sliding Roof Assembly Disassembly and Assembly
Reference: Sliding Roof Assembly Removal and Installation

Disassembly
1. Be sure that sliding roof is CLOSE state.




2. Remove rear drip (1).
3. Pull out sunshade by sliding it.




4. Remove drip rail (1).
5. Remove sliding motor assembly.




6. Move cable assembly (1) fully to the direction shown in the figure.
7. Remove sliding roof deflector.




8. Pull out drip show (1), guide and cable assembly as a set.

Assembly
Reverse disassembly procedure for assembly, noting the following point.

CAUTION: Match protrusion (2) of guide (3) and dent (1) in cable for completely closed position of sliding roof drive cable and match marks (holes (5)) for completely closed position of sliding roof motor assembly (4) and then install sliding roof motor assembly (4).




- Apply butyl rubber sealant to contact surface A of the rear drip (6).
