Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Removal
- Relieve the pressure in the coolant reservoir by turning the coolant reservoir cap slightly counterclockwise.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Remove the VIS vacuum tank. Refer to VIS Vacuum Tank Removal Z.

- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECTS) connector.
- Remove the ECTS from the cylinder head.
