Exhaust Manifold Installation

Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
Replace the exhaust manifold gaskets with new ones.
Install the exhaust manifolds.
Tighten:

Tighten the exhaust manifold retaining nuts to 27 - 30 N.m (20 - 22 lb-ft).

Install the exhaust manifold heat shields.
Tighten:

Tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts to 18 - 22 N.m (13 - 16 lb-ft).

Replace the catalytic converter gasket with a new one.
Install the front exhaust pipe.
Tighten:

Tighten the front exhaust pipe-to-front muffler nuts to 25 - 35 N.m (18 - 26 lb-ft).

Replace the pup converter gasket with a new one.
Tighten the front exhaust pipe nuts.
Tighten:

Tighten the front exhaust pipe nuts to 32 - 48 N.m (24 - 35 lb-ft).
Install the front exhaust pipe lower bracket. Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Installation .
Tighten:

Tighten the front exhaust pipe lower bracket bolts to 32 - 48 N.m (24 - 35 lb-ft).
