Front Strut Assembly Reassembly

Install the lower spring insulator and the spring.
Compress the spring using the spring compressor KM-329-A.

Install the piston rod boot, the hollow bumper, the upper spring insulator, the upper spring seat, the upper strut mount, and the mount bearing. Be sure the front spring seat is positioned correctly.

Fix the strut mounting with bite and install the piston rod nut.
Tighten:

Tighten the piston rod nut to 70 N.m (52 lb-ft).

Install the dust cover onto the bearing assembly.
Release and remove the spring compressor KM-329-A.
Install the strut assembly onto the vehicle. Refer to Front Strut Installation .
