DTC Troubleshooting

TEST PROCEDURE - FRONT LEFT (WEIGHT) SENSOR CRUSH DETECTED

Step Action YES NO
  1. With ignition switch OFF, connect scan tool to DLC.
  2. Turn ON ignition switch.
  3. Check for OCM DTC displayed on scan tool.

Is DTC B1207 indicated? 
Go to Step 2. Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent trouble referring to INSPECTION OF INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTIONS .
  1. Perform occupant classification system rezeroing referring to OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM REZEROING .
  2. Perform occupant classification system sensitivity check referring to OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM SENSITIVITY CHECK .
  3. Clear OCM DTC referring to DTC CLEARANCE FOR OCM .
  4. Check OCM DTC referring to DTC CHECK FOR OCM .

Is DTC B1207 still indicated? 
Substitute a known-good OCM and recheck. System is in good condition.
NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
