Air Flow Control Actuator Removal and Installation: Removal

Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
Disable air bag system.
Refer to DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
Remove instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Disconnect air flow control actuator linkage (1) from heater unit.

Disconnect air flow control actuator coupler (1).
Remove air flow control actuator from heater unit by removing its mounting screw (2).
