Engine Control Module (ECM) Removal and Installation: Removal

Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
Disable air bag system (if equipped) referring to DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove ECM cover (1) from bracket.

Disconnect connectors from ECM (1).
Remove ECM (1) with bracket (2).
