2H (2WD High) Position

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Suzuki XL-7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The driving force from the transmission is transmitted to the transfer input gear. As the reduction shift sleeve and transfer input gear are engaged via the reduction hub at this time, the driving force transmitted from the transfer input gear to the rear output shaft rotate them at the same speed.

On the other hand, as the front drive clutch sleeve is not engaged with the front drive sprocket, the driving force is not transmitted to the output front shaft.
