DTC is Not Outputted Even When Diagnosis Switch Terminal is Connected to Ground: Troubleshooting

TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step	Action	YES	NO
1	2WD/4WD indicator circuit check Turn ignition switch to ON position. Does 2WD/4WD indicator come ON?	Go to Step 2.	Go to 2WD/4WD Indicator Does Not Come ON at Ignition Switch ON .
2	Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Is it shorted to diagnosis switch terminal and ground terminal by service wire properly?	Go to Step 3.	Connect service wire securely.
3	Diagnosis connector circuit check Disconnect service wire. Measure resistance between ground terminal of diagnosis connector and body ground. Is resistance below 5 Ω?	Go to Step 4.	"BLK" circuit poor connection.
4	Diagnosis connector circuit check Disconnect 4WD control module connector. Check for proper connection to 4WD control module at terminal "E23-8". If OK, then measure resistance between diagnosis switch terminal of diagnosis connector and "E23-8" terminal of 4WD control module connector. Is resistance 1 Ω or less?	Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck.	"PNK" wire circuit is open.
