Suspension Control Arm / Bushings Removal and Installation: Installation

- Press-fit front bushing (2) until its flange contacts housing edge (3) of control arm, use special tools and hydraulic press (1) as shown in the figure.

NOTE: When press-fitting bushing, compounding oil or soap water applied to inside of control arm housing will facilitate work. - Press-fit rear bushing (2) until its flange contacts housing edge (3) of control arm, use special tools and hydraulic press (1) as shown in the figure.

NOTE: When press-fitting bushing (2), compounding oil or soap water applied to inside of control arm housing will facilitate work. - Install control arm to chassis.
Tighten suspension arm nuts to specified torque after lowering hoist and vehicle in non-loaded condition.
Tightening torque
Front suspension arm front nut a: 85 N.m (8.5 kg-m, 61.5 lb-ft)
Front suspension arm rear nut b: 126 N.m (12.6 kg-m, 91.0 lb-ft)
NOTE: For H27 engine model, don't reuse front suspension arm nut (b). - As installation procedure hereafter is the same as that for coil spring referring to COIL SPRING REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
