Camber and Caster Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Suzuki XL-7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. To prevent possible incorrect reading of camber or caster, vehicle front end must be moved up and down a few times before inspection.
  2. Check camber and caster using camber and caster gauge. Refer to FRONT END ALIGNMENT CONSTRUCTION  for specified value.
  3. Should camber or caster be found out of specifications upon inspection, locate its cause first. If it is in damaged, loose, bent, dented or worn suspension parts, they should be replaced. If it is in body, repair it so as to attain specifications.
