Water Pump Removal and Installation: Installation

Reference: WATER PUMP INSPECTION

Install new O-rings (3) to water pump (1).
Install water pump (1) to cylinder block.
Tightening torque

Water pump bolt a: 27 N.m (2.7 kg-m, 19.5 lb-ft)

Install timing chain cover. Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Refill coolant referring to COOLING SYSTEM FLUSH AND REFILL .
Refill engine oil.
Verify that there is no water leakage and oil leakage at each connection.
Connect negative (-) cable at battery.
