Conditions for Setting the DTC
(Condition 1)
- No CKP, CMP, MAF, oxygen sensor, EVAP purge solenoid, ECT, TP, fuel system, MAP, misfire faults exist.
- Ignition ON.
- Engine coolant temperature is greater than 75 °C (167 °F).
- Total mass air flow is greater than 400 g.
- HO2S2 voltage for lean is greater than 1.001 V.
- HO2S2 voltage for rich is greater than 0.620 V.
(Condition 2)
- No CKP, CMP, MAF, oxygen sensor, EVAP purge solenoid, ECT, TP, fuel system, MAP, misfire faults exist.
- Ignition ON.
- Engine coolant temperature is greater than 75 °C (167 °F).
- Total mass air flow is greater than 400 g.
- HO2S2 voltage for rich is less than 0.620 V.
- HO2S2 voltage for lean is less than 1.001 V.
(Condition 3)
- Ignition ON.
- Exhaust gas temperature is greater than 349.975 °C (662 °F).
- HO2S2 voltage is between 0.361 and 0.488 V.
- Internal resistance of HO2S2 is greater than 60 kΩ.
