Conditions for Setting the DTC

(Condition 1)

• Ignition ON with the engine running.
• Difference of the substitute coolant temperature values is higher than pre-determined value.
• Difference of the measured coolant temperature values is less than pre-determined value.

(Condition 2)

• Ignition ON with the engine running.
• Start-up coolant temperature is higher than 75.75 °C (168.4 °F).
• Start-up IAT is between -9.75 °C (14.45 °F) and 69.75 °C (157.6 °F).
• Ambient air temperature is higher than -9.75 °C (14.45 °F).
• 600 seconds have been passed since start-up.

(Condition 3)

• Ignition ON with the engine running.
• Start-up IAT is between 9.75 °C (49.55 °F) and 50.25 °C (122.5 °F).
• Ambient air temperature is higher than 9.75 °C (49.55 °F).
• Difference of start-up IAT and ambient temperature is less than 15 °C (59 °F).
