Childproof Rear Door Lock Installation
- Connect the electrical connector.CAUTION: Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.
- Install the rear door lock with the screws.
Tighten:
Tighten the rear door lock screws to 10 N.m (89 lb-in.).
- Install the lock rods.
- Install the guide rail with the bolts and the screw.
Tighten:
- Tighten the rear door guide rail screw to 4 N.m (35 lb-in.).
- Tighten the rear door guide rail bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb-in.).
- Install the door seal trim. Refer to DOOR SEAL TRIM INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
